Demi-Pairs are asked to work for 20 hours per week plus 2 nights' babysitting per month in exchange for single room accommodation on a full-board basis in the family home. Language Assistants are university students or recent graduates who have some teaching experience and a keen interest in languages.

You need to enjoy speaking your own language and know how to teach it to foreign learners! Irish foreign language students vary from young children to adult learners to teenagers studying for a university entrance exam.

You will be asked to teach your mother-tongue language and culture to a member or all members of a family for 10+5 hours per week. In exchange for your work as a language assistant, you will receive single room accommodation on a full-board basis in the family home. English language classes are optional.
